Default Anyone else having grief with search engines?

I've been using the latest version of Internet Explorer for ages but last month it became painfully slow, so slow it was sometimes taking up to a minute for a webpage to load.

So kicked that into touch and installed Mozilla Firefox about 2 weeks ago. What a difference. Superfast browsing so i was over the moon..................until now!

This too has now become the same as Internet Explorer. Unbelievably slow and unbearable.

So i'm now using Google Chrome which as it states, is really quick. It takes a bit of getting used to and do prefer the Mozilla layout but i can't be doing with it's snail like pace.

So, my question is, how long will it be before Chrome stays in first gear and starts giving me grief. I cannot understand why they have both come to a grinding halt. I regularly clear my browsing history, cookies etc so am a bit confused.

Anyone else been having the same problem?

    Paul.

Anything to do with your net connection? What's your speed rating? http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showth...ghlight=upload

Like Tadpole (an age problem? ), I can't get my head round Chrome. IE8 works 100% though.

mine started to do the same with IE8. fine when working with 1 tab most of the time but unbearable when I try and load two pages. Reverted back to IE7 but hit other probs before noticing a difference

I reinstalled the whole thing from scratch and as part of the install it installed IE8 again and because I have now never had IE7 it cant uninstall.

    Firefox is fine though
