    Default Advise please

    Advise please my new car is due any day, do I need to use meguiars step 1 / step 2 and then polymer sealant 20, do I need to do step 1 since its new car I have just bought all the above. Thanks for any advise and help

    I would use step one. I've just done a brand new Astra Twintop and the claying stage produced plenty of crud from certain areas of the car.

    Step 1 is a very good non abrasive paint cleaner and will leave a good base for step two. Without it you will be potentially sealng in crap by the time you get to the sealent.

    I would clay the car also before step 1, the car has probably been sat in a field or somewhere for a while.

    Yes definatley clay it. Nothing better than spending time with your new car when it arrives.
