    Default Debadging my vec

    i have a little query about debadging the rear of my vectra...the vx symbol on the boot, does it have a little pin on the badge that holds it on, or is it just stuck on?

    Hi,

    Its just stuck on. The glue can be a real pain to remove. WD40 worked for me.

    reason manufactures are making them stick on is to stop the likelyhood of rust occuring.

    So yeah, just stuck on

    warm to hot water... not boiling... old credit card..... then rub off the exces glue with a cloth.. keep rubbing and it will come off.

    Just done mine and found the floss and dw40 worked great!

    seemed to stick to the chrome strip very well but the rest of the car just fell off with no hardship removing the residue
