fault codes need help please

hello just want a bit of help i got a astra 1.7td for my wife s reg had a engine light on had a mate do a diagnostic readout on it and its came up with code 400 egr valves intermitant (high) ? any1 know if this is a major problem please help and yes my vectra is fine lol thanx mark

Do a search on here mate there is plenty of info, you may have to clean it up, there is also a how to on here regarding cleaning the EGR

The how to may need modifying to your particular engine, but the principle would be the same I'd expect.

got 2 more codes please help code 1335 engine speed signal intermitant ? and 704 clutch switch circuit ? any1 know what i will need to replace to fix these problems and were i would find the unit on the car as the codes meen nothing to me lol thanx mark

ps i replaced the egr vaulve and sender relay sortid that problem
