rolleyes Diesel, 1.9 - rev ceiling?

    Concerning the 1.9 cdti 150 ...

How long should this car take to get up to temperature?

If the car is running at the right temperature, then what might be the most common causes of the engine not revving as high as it perhaps should?

Mine sometimes shows a fault light and goes into limp mode if revved over 3,000 rpm in the higher gears, even when thoroughly warm. However, the fault goes away when the ignition is switched off and on again, and doesn't ever seem to be recorded for the Vx dealership to diagnose.

Mine's takes about 5 minutes or so of 2000rpm driving to get up to temperature depending on the OAT itself - during the winter I can get it to drop off the scale when driving around town...

That ^ had crossed my mind too.

    Thank you

I can feel a fourth "warranty" visit to the dealership coming on

Mine too, it's usually up to the 85-c mark within a few minutes of normal driving.
