I don't think there is a way unless a dealer turns it off mate. My auntie lives in Beilefeld, moving back to UK in July. Nice looking car BTW,

Her name is Bev Buntin, her husband is a staffy in the RLC (Ian ) just moved back to work in Stockport recruitment office. Pretty sure you won't know them but hey, I lived in Bielefeld 29 years ago when I was 2! LOL

Thanks for the car comments, the only other way is if you have a Vauxhall car seat and your car has a transponder fitted. I don't think there is another way around it.

Put her in the rear. She'll be less of a distraction for you there. If she does need any attention you can pull over safely rather than be tempted to take your eyes off the road while still driving.

The transponders in the Vauxhall baby seat only work if you have the matching transponder in your car's passenger seat - look for a 'smart airbag' sticker on the passenger-side end of the dashboard (will be visible with the door open) and the 'baby seat detected / not detected' light next to the odometer. See your user manual for more details. Otherwise, the car won't 'see' the baby seat and will still trigger the passenger airbag in an accident.
