    Default Sudden severe shakes.

    Hi guys,

I had an issue with alloy cracking/buckling a few months ago, which were repaired. Put the repairs on the back and balanced everything and problem went away completely.

Then, this morning, out of the blue, i get onto a duel carrageway get up to 65 and the wheel proceeds to try and shake itself outta my hands!

OK i thought, maybe the newer tyres (3 months ago) have worn out of balance, so I try and accelerate through it as this worked before, but as i got faster it got worse and worse, so much so i had to slow right down as i could hardly control the wheel. The entire car was virbating!

Im starting to this that becasue its so severe its not the wheels, i've checked them for the obvious buckles and cracks, but cant see anything.

What else could this be? Wierd thing is i was on a duel carageway yesterday at 70 and there was not a hint of virbation, but today its terrible!

    Any ideas guys?

just got back, all solid again now , no shakey shakes

Was a bit of wierd tyre wear (Im blaming the map for this, lol) and we think I lost a weight.

Its wierd as we cant see where one has come off, but the balancing was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay out on the one tyre, so must have been.

Cheers for the advice chaps :d
