    Default ready for scrapping my vectra 2.0dti

    alright still having problems with my vectra i have changed glow plug relay and glow plugs but i am still getting p0380 high voltage fault can any1 help me please. i also changed leak off pipes, t peices and cleaned the egr valve which made the first start of the day very difficult so i put the old leak off pipes back on and this brought it back to normal any help is much appreciated cheers

    All the glowplugs will have leads going to them.You just need to find out which one(s) aren't doing there job.At this time of year I'd be very surprised if they would need to operate anyway,so don't really understand why you get the fault light.

    Maybe someone with a better explanation will come along now that we've bumped it to the top again.

    have you sealed your fuel filter housing properly after changing the filter! sometimes this can draw air causing non start or slow start after hours of lying about! can bring up dtc's from long crank!

    went to my local vauxhall dealer and was talking to a mechanic there and he recons because of the owner before me cross threading a glowplug causing it to snap in the hole he recons that is what it is he said its a common problem when people cross thread them so it looks like ill have to strip the head down get it re drilled and tapped if anyone can give me a guide of the easyest way to strip the head down i would be very greatfull cheers
