Default Are my coils springs wrong?

My 100 edition failed it's mot on 2 front coil springs> I have had them changed but I feel that they are wring. As I think that the whole front of the car is sitting too high. Here are some pics

Plus does anyone have the part numbers for near and off side coil springs for a 100 edition SRI?

I just think that my garage has fitted the wrong ones.

They are lower at the back then the front, when did you get them fitted? If they are very recent, they will settle down with a bit of time.

Ah well that would most likely be it then. They were fitted yesterday. How long should I be looking at for a settling in period?

did they use genuine sprongs or after market ones?...some times a idle parts man will order any thing from the list due to there beeing a big list to go through ..or after market ones are for standard cars or v6's and can look a little higher ....

as far as i know the factors dont do springs for the sri models, only the standard models,a vauxhall parts man should get the reg no and use the POC filter to see what suspension is fitted to the car,all sri's have lowered suspension but some other models also have lowered suspension like my design estate so it is very easy to get caught out

I had the same problem when my rear springs cracked. The dozy Vauxhall dealership put on standard (non-Sri) springs. They also said that it would take a week to settle but they didn't. Another trip and they decided that they had ballsed up. They replaced them free and that was the end of my hot-rod Veccy!
