Default K&N 57i Induction Kit Vauxhall Vectra

    Guys.

Has anyone got one of these fitted on there vectra.

    Does it make much difference??
Does it make the engine sound stupidly loud?? or does it make the car sound rapid with a good sound.

Last of all, are they worth the £££'s

Regards Guys just looking for some input on this.

2 for sale and one up for swaps in the for sale section in the last month alone - not everyones cup of tea and the increase in fuel consumption is enough to put most off

Hi mate I just sold one on here recently and I have to admit I didn't like the increase fuel consumption and it gave you a racey sound to it too when you put the foot down but not my cuppa T so I've reverted back to the airbox with a K'n'N panel filter now. hth

I have a Simota Carbon induction kit, but its the closed kind (not a cone filter) and sounds very good indeed with no risk of heat soak and makes a noticable difference to smoothness - not noticed any mpg difference, but that will be due to it not being an open cone filter - they are a bit more expensive at £150 but well worth it IMO.

i would go for the closed cone version,i have had a few open cone on diffent cars one at the mo on my bmw there is a sound change in that car but not a great deal, but i think they are worth the money i have seen them for my vecy for £82,so not bad, closed cone about £150.
