ive heard DOT 5.1 as if you use the fully sythetic stuff id doesnt lubricate the brake parts. ive heard that the rear brake lines in the kits dont fit? is this true or is it just an old problem thats been sorted now? ive got 285mm's so will the generic vectra c fit?

Don't make the same mistake i did, the rear banjo's of the brake line come in two different sizes. I bought a set cheap from ebay and the rear banjos are too little

If you buy them from Goodridge (straight from their website) and when you order send them an email and mention in the order that you will need banjo fittings 12mm front and back then they should sort you out.
I did this but they still sent me the wrong back ones because they were too quick. However, one email to them and the sent the correct set out to me the next day

i would just like to add i phoned demon tweeks for a set of braided hoses and they told me they didn't keep them in stock and they was made to order they wanted £80 what a rip off i phoned H E L brake lines i so the add in total vauxhall magazine they made me a set next day delivery they even had carbon look cover coating and yes they do make a big differance to the feel of the brakes especially if your brake lines are over 3-4 years old
