    Default eye tests at tesco...

    been up to tesco this morning to get some stuff and noticed their doing FREE eye tests today so booked myself in for this afty.
    hope this saves some one else some cash

    Cheers for this mate, I will probably go and get mine done when I get back from hol.

    Tesco pretty much are turning into a one-stop-shop! I heard on the news a few weeks ago that they are going to open up High Street Bank style outlets too for the actual Tesco Finance! Shocking !

    They are free for a reason!! In my experience of Tesco opticians I would not recommend them to anyone.

    Both myself and the wife have had glasses from them which were not right(wrongly prescribed). I ended up getting terrible headaches when using teh glasses they provided. My wifes lenses kept falling out as they were not correctly fitted to the frames.

    Anyway we went to specsavers instead and have had no problems at all since.

    You may find your store OK, but just giving you a heads up as I wouldn't want you to be worse off with poorly prescribed glasses!!
