Way too expensive dude, I'd get the 314mm kit instead - as much braking as you could possibly need and a third of the price...

I am puzzled, and maybe I will get shot down.

BUT, brake performance is limited to the grip between tyre and road (ie why we have ABS) - I can lock my wheels without any problem on the standard 1.8 setup (ABS activates of course) - so how are these going to improve braking power, and stopping power? I don't understand how it could, as the limit isn't brakes, but rather tyre / road....

OK, there may be less fade, but how many times does your car suffer from brake fade? I really can't remember one occasion with mine when it's been an issue.
Unless you are track racing etc, then I really don't see the point of these sorts of things on a standard car, as they may look good but actually offer little actual measurable performance gains in normal use, but cost a lot.

    Or am I missing something?

I think its the differnce between adverage brakes and improved braking system!

If the servo can power the upgraded brakes then i don't see a problem.

I think its all about stopping power, having better stopping power i'm all in favour of.

We all know about the techno side of brakes dependant on road condition etc.

Normal brakes will i sappose bite at a certain point, upgraded brakes may bite at the same point but a lot stronger making the stopping distance a lot less?

If it was me then i would want better brakes for my familiy, i once renewed my own brakes complete system and they were better than vauxhalls.

They also stopped and slammed your head into the windscreen as the machanic soon found out Touch gently next time like i told you
