Default Bleep When I Press Boot Release Button

Everytime I press the boot release button on the drivers door all I get is a 'Family Fortunes' style bleep and the boot fails to open

    Any ideas guys?

    Cheers

I took me AGES how to figure out the quirkness of that damn boot!!

I find i have to press it just as i get out of the car to open the boot.

Sometimes i have tolock the car then press the unlock button twice to undo th eboot..

It took me a good 6 weeks to get it right!!

Unless you have an electric boot opener, you will have to press the button on the bootlid and lift it up once you have pressed the 'unlock boot' button on your front doors or remote keyfob.

the bleep signifys the fact that you have activated the boot unlock and as such it will be available to open for 10 minutes

Splendid. That's what I needed to know - Makes you wonder why they gave it a sound which intimates that you have broken it LOL
