There was only 1 small crack a couple of months ago now they're spreading all in the same area around my filler cap, any idea whats causing them and what can be done?

Ouch... Lump or donpaul or similar will be along soon to offer their advice mate.. But if it was 'lifting and cracking' im sure it would be a respray job

looks like a filler repair going wrong to me. I can't think of any reason why just paint would do that.

try using a magnet.....if it doesnt stick to the offending area then you can assume that its catty (filler) and been repaired at some stage.....if it does stick id go back to the main dealer and complain....you never know they may help, there is a warranty on paint just dunno how long...good luck
