sorry to hear about this crap hassle, been there with the house attacked the same, looking at the amount of damage i would bite the bullet and do it through the insurance, the lad had a claim against him after wacking a 4x4 up the arse and also having a wiplash claim upto 3k against him within his first 3 months of driving and bieng under 21 his insurance actually came down after changing from a w rg fiesta 1.3 to a 2001 corsa 1.25 ???, CRAZY!
