    Default Side light removal

    How do I remove them. Ive looked at the How 2's but never claimed to have the best eyesight.

    If there isnt one Ill make one

    best way i found is to use the keyfob size tesco club card - slide it in behind the side light closest to the door and it should pop out

    bonus using the club card is that its plastic on plastic so no nasty scratches and the card is softer than the sidelight so gives and wont break the mount

    to refit if it persists in sitting proud do the above in reverse order

    Any idea how to get the cable out. The drivers side came out fine the passenger side unclipped I pulled it out but they had obviously not clipped it on as the cable had come off prior to removal

    lol, a bit of welding rod and fish it out....i take it you mean side repeaters....when i removed mine i tied rubber gloves onto the cable as soon as i saw it to stop it falling in

    It dednt even make it out the 1st one was fine the 2nd one fell off inside the wing. Cheers will get some earth cable. Not fairting my chances though im **** at fishing

    you get gripper things from places like b and Q, kindof grappling hook on a wire with a grab button at the end of it, you could try one of these

    COpper earth wire with a hook at the end did me just as good cheers

    i did enough to make mine the same as the trimline going along the car, and they are still visable..... tho they have faded slightly ( i didnt laquer them tho )
