    Default mot gurus

    my sister has just phoned to say her car has failed its mot its a corsa c 02 plate needs front bit of exhaust and they also failed it on non parking wipers! not a good morning

    err indoors mothers corsa failed on the wipers too,when i got the guy to explain.... the pins in the wiper arms were worn so the wipers flapped about when parking a trip to the scrappers and a fiver later (mother out-law was told £15!!) swopped the arms over and re-tested ok

    it needs a motor but if you flick the stalk they park at bottom just sometimes they stop in middle of screen.

    the reason why wipers wont park is because a part in the motor has either broke or worn out

    Its the motor. Thats where park bit is. Its a contact
    In motor.

    If a tester can get the wipers to park by tapping the stalk until they stop at the bottom, then he shouldn't fail it and only advise. However, if no amount of messing with the stalk will move them away from the drivers line of vision, then that is a reason for rejection
