    Default dti chip?

    hi all.

    iv got a 2.2 dti auto on 04 plate.
    im finding it really hard to locate a tuning module for this car, there are lots for the cdti's but not this one.

    why?????????

    and does anyone know where to get one and how much?

    2.2DTI is not an easy engine to tune as they can through up all kinds of fault codes and the car has a tendency to go into limp mode.

    got mine done of a mate at jdmototech pal brilliant its is 300 quid but worth every penny just google it a get there number and ring them tell them i gave you the number
    Vectra vxr custome remaps egr deletes dpf and diagnostic work all remaps are custome bench tuning avalible all genuine equipment PM for info

    The DTI's are the older deisel injection whereas the CDTI's are common rail which is the main difference bud.

    Honestly mate try to find a cheap steinbauer tuning box, I have one fitted to mine. As the DTi's have weak fuel pumps re-maps aren't recommended as they increase fuel pump pressure. The steinbauer just regulates the signals going to the pump and damn it works

    hi john, yes iv read the steinberger one is the best for the 2.2.
    bloooody expensive new!

    iv heard/seen its a good idea to look on german ebay???????

    Yeah thats where i picked my one up, was still in its box for 150 euros plus 7 euros postage (DHL). Worked out about the same in pounds due to the crap exchange rate but a great saving on a new one.
    The good thing about it is there are six different settings and it can be switched off (yeah right) . The best thing is that it works
