    Default Airbox Mod

Come on, convince me to do the airbox mod, Im reluctant at the mo because of an issue with my previous Vectra (1.8 LS, no difference felt and acute emissions failure!)

Now got 1.8 SRi, so tell me the pros and maybe cons of doing mod, might do it tomorrow if all goes well.

well all i sugest is try and see if you get the mod, if not you wont affect any thing with allowing more air into the box as its measured by the mass air flow to put the correct amount in but if you boot it you will have the unrestricted flow should you need it , if you dont like it put the piece back on

If you dont like it put it back on - You dont snap it off it has clips either side and although it needs a little force and seems like you will break it - it will slot back in

    Vehicle : Opel Signum

Mine's possibly a bit punchier higher up the rev range @3500+. The only downside is increased noise at tickover.
