just bough 55 plate vectra 150 sri, i just started realising a whistling noise that happens when i start accelerating then slowly going off when i deccelerate what can this be?

suspect you have a hole or split in one of your air pipes or maybe a loose jubilee clip get someone to rev the engine with the bonnet up - should be able to locate it from that

is it a expensive problem to fix if its the turbo or whole in the air pipes

I heard a similar noise after I did the airbox mod, assumed it was due to that but may have to check the hoses now,

I hope that's not the case. I noticed mine this morning, but I thought that moise was common on a turbo engine. Only had this car a week. However, I have a Network Q warranty, so no worries yet.

wistle+wheezes are common for cdti 150 its turbo pressure, it should come and go as you change up nothing to worry about unless its louder than the radio!!!!
