    Exclamation another newbie with questions

hi all, at the moment i have a vectra b 99, im looking into going for vec c,
    could any 1 please point out the difference between a 56 1.9cdti 150 bhp and a 1.8 sxi 55.
is there a great differnce between the 2.
would any 1 buy a 3 year old car with 80,000 mile on the clock, full service history tho,

if i chose the diesel 1.9 cdti 150. could i add a quad exhaust system to make it sound better,

thanks in advanced guys and girls,

    hi m8, welcome to vectra-c......

the 1.8 ia slightly under powered, as they are a heavy car, the 1.9cdti 150,are very good, and even better once you get a tunning box on them

Forget the BHP the torque on the 150 CDTi will be far more than the petrol so will be immensly quicker in gear. Plus they return an average of between 45-50 mpg. As for high mileage car, if its only 3 years old it'll most probably be motorway miles and if its a diesel it'll go on forever (ish).
Have a good look round any car your considering. Especialy at the wear on seat, steering wheel, pedals and gear knob. This is a good indication of the mileage. As for the exhaust it may sound beter on petrol cars but IMO they make a diesel sound more tractor-ish.
    hope this is of help.
