    Default Ebay Advice Please

    Some of you have probably seen the drop down roof TV i have installed, anyways it was all installed and working, but yesterday i tried to turn it on and it wouldnt, i hope its a loose wire but i have to drop the roof lining agai and its a pain to do so i contacted the seller, but he stated no returns, and he told me to raise the claim with PP..... do i have a leg to stand on or should i not pursue it and get something else

    not sure mate but if it worked to start with then maybe it is just a loose wire, give it a try before you make any decisions.

    private seller or business? how long have you had it?

    If it was bought through a business and paid by paypal you have nothing to worry about, if the set is faulty, paypal will take on your case and refund you. If the unit was bought privately you still have a chance of a refund as you paid by credit card but maybe not so clean cut.

    If the unit was working originally it is probably like you say - alose wire or possibly a blown fuse.

    you'll probably just have to take your chances with paypal then as said above, a credit card chargeback could be the way to get your money back although paypal won't be happy.
