hi guys, the paint on my mums red corsa has gone pink on the roof and bonnet, I have just bought a kestrel das polisher but would like to know what is the best pad and polish combination to get the paint looking good again.

    any help appreciated

buffing compound, and a mechanical buffer to start, depends how bad it is as to what grade to use, post piks up, or go to halfrauds and ask their opinon

I like Megs pads with Menz polishes. The pad / polish combination will depend on the softness of the paint and the defects. I did a pink Corsa and the paint was very soft and easy to correct.

Take the indicators out and badges off to make life easier. Make sure you tape the rubber up.

If its gone pink you can polish all you like, it will go pink again. Once it goes pink there is no return. if the car had been waxed from new you may have stopped it. I bough on las year a 52 plate pink all over. polishe it moped it waxed it. Pink again in 2 weeks.
