All I am going to say, is IDIOTS.

Careless, thoughtless and possibly negligent.

I wonder if their insurance actually pays out for this, and hence everyones premiums are so expensive? The car will never drive again.

If it gets up to the doors, it's time to take anything of sentimental / personal value and abandon it.
