The police buy batches of cars so when one model is replaced they still have old one to register. So if they were in an action and the tv company bought one there is you answer. You will still see one or two vectra B on 03 plate.
Well I was watching a behind the scenes of an Eastenders many MANY years ago, when Grant used to have that very smart Grey Cavalier MK3 SRI....
.....well they actually discussed the choice of cars for characters in that show and that Cavalier belonged to a lady in her early 30's and the BBC had approached the lady and said we want to use your car in Eastenders as we believe it fits his character......
......the car was actually an F-reg, but was being used on G-reg plates just so viewers dont get up to no good with the reg's.....maybe something similar going on??
Obviously the crew probably have no idea about registration year's, etc!?
Just to add also, my dad's Vec-C FL SRI CDTI was the one used in the channel 4 program Space Cadets.....I tried to find images of the show but could.....(might start a thread to see if anyone can help), it was used to transport the cadets from hideout to space station, etc.....so the previous owner told me.
I would agree with that one Vaux-man-g
I thought it was only me that got that stare lol
My lass hates me talking about cars but actually likes the touring cars so i can live with that.
