    Default headunit help please

Some may remember my debacle with halfrauds after they broke my stereo trying to fit my iOplay. I was hoping to get the new parrot RK8200 but no release date as yet and i'm fed up with no ipod connection.

so i've got a choice of 3 as follows

    http://www.caraudiocentre.co.uk/prod...bt_p-23616.htm

    http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/pro..._id/11270.html

    http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/kenw...181hif6kmju3q7

what do you think? i'm leaning towards pioneer at the moment.

if any body can recommend anything else let me know. must have bluetooth and be compatable with iphone.

budget about £200 has halfords are paying for it not me!

tell them you'll only except the cost or a new replacment vauxhall radio and nothing less... they broke it they should replace like for like

should be a bit more than £200 and then with that you could get a nice 2din satnav unit.

That's spot on. If you had a factory fit stereo in there then go to the stealers and get quoted for a replacement stereo and give the bill to halfords. Either say you want them to pay for a new vx stereo or you'll take the equivilent priced one from halfords.

thats perfectly reasonable, as i'm sure Trading standards would agree (subtle hint there )

they offered to get a replacement cdr2005 but i'd still be without bluetooth iphone connection etc.

i hear what your saying but the double din one with what i need is nearer £400!! the pioneer one is about £250 with cable for ipod. Still waiting to hear back if they'll do that. Thanks for the advice guys, i'll keep you posted on outcome

The one I've seen and really like is this linky

If i was to get a aftermarket one, i'd get a double din one as I think the single din ones in a double din slot look tacky, just my opinion
