front springs

hi,
i recently became a victim of the infamous vectra c front spring snap. my mot determined that i had broken both front springs. I have a 2004 vectra cdti 150 sri. does anybody know whether i have different front springs to the standard vectra. I have been to a motor factors and they are quoting £40 ish, but have 3 choices. is the spring shorter or is just more firm, and the lowering comes from a lower chassis.make sense?i am just confused, i dont want to take the spring off and then have to wait to get the right one in.

eibachs are your best bet if you don't want to change your shocks anytime soon. any more than a 30mm drop and you'll have to change your shocks sooner due to wear.
