    Default vectra 1.9cdti 150 obd scanner which one

    hi there
    could you please point me in the right direction on which scanner light ressetting scanner i need for my car
    i have a 04 vectra c 1.9cdti and im getting missfire
    i have cleaned egr but not the solonaid as it semms to move freely
    was thinking of doing the injector 3 wiring mod but would like to buy a scanner first too see if there are any faults first

    Just make sure it reads canbus (that U480 one does) and it should be fine.I've just got the same one for my V6 diesel and it works fine.

    Clean the solenoid side. Mine seemed to move ok but when taken apart and cleaned it resolved by problem. Like you I also tried the 3rd Injector wiring mod but this didnt help. I done the EGR valve side first but this didnt help. I really recomend doing the EGR valve solenoid side next, it's not as hard as it looks and if it's broken you cant break it any more now can you? You will need a vice and a small long centre punch to get it out because it is in there quite hard.
