Yeah they will trigger the bulb warning.
It wouldn't be difficult to cure it though.
I think the correct resistor is a bout 50 p from Maplins.
is that all it is? a measure of current drawn or a measure of ohm resistance for the circuit ? if so its a simple fix ( just use a fluke on the old lightbulb and then the new one, add a resister to make up the difference? )
6.8 ohms is the normal resistance

if these bulbs are stop tail then these bulbs wont fit a vectra c as the vectra c does not use stop tail bulbs but a single 21 watt bulb per holder,and these wont be red but white in led form
