Now I need a turbo to keep up!
they will probably pay him off with a few million to change the regulations for them in 2010, just because brawn gp are beating them they dont like it lol
tbh they just up set they wont be able to spend hundreds of millions i like the idea of having a set limmit will give every one a fair chance so should make for closer racing
me too , i think they should all have a budget and then its down to driver skill and tactics rather thatn we have spent 500 million you have only spent 10 million, a lot fairer
The budget cap will kill the sport completely. F1 is more than a sport, it's a science - a lot of technologies that originate from F1 eventually filter through to improving road cars. Why limit what a company wants to spend on their car? Doesn't make any sense at all to me. I know they are trying to make the sport more competitive for others to join in and have a go, but it's doing alright now with newcomers Brawn leading the field and a couple of other teams like red bull doing well too.
Toyota already said they'll also pull the plug on this idea http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/moto...ne/8042267.stm
I really hate all the regulations they keep putting in to slow the cars down now. F1 cars from 10 years ago were probably quicker than the ones they are using now, and that's a shame.
Renault are the latest high-profile team threatening to quit Formula 1 unless proposals to adopt a £40m budget cap in 2010 are shelved ................
