I've finally sold my car, the guy has just been round to pay for it and driven it away! Does anyone else always feel a tinge of sadness as a trusty workhorse moves on to a new owner? Or am I just a numpty

Know how you feel - when the vec b went I was taking photos of it (gave it back to the finance company). It was immaculate - the chaps who came to pick it up were astounded that I was giving it back.
I spent hours on the car - just had a brilliant offer on my first Vec C - apart from my 1st car (a Chevette) was the best car I had owned.
My old Vec B is still in my home town, and its the local take away man who owns it, i found out 2 weeks ago,

3 years ago i traded in my vec c 2.2dti sri in silver at nidd vale in harrogate, bearing in mind i live nr pontefract so its a fair distance away, then on sunday morning while at was at work a mate of one my staff rang up and was telling me that he had just bought a new car (from wakefield) and how it was a vec c 2.2dti sri in silver and was going to bring it to show me, knowing how much i like my vauxhalls...so can you imagine the look on my face when he turns up in my old car!! i couldn't believe it!! pretty upsetting really because the owner after me quite clearly didn't look after it....
Know what you mean, its hard and I hate it !!!
