    Default A liitle info please.

I picked my new wheels up yesterday, as i'm a bit pushed for time over the next few days i would like to know roughly how long it takes to paint the calipers, drying time mainly, because i don't want to rush it but i would like to get the wheels on asap. Also the new wheels are 18" is the spacesaver spare wheel still usable with these bigger wheels? Thx Col.

Drying time would be depenant on what paint you buy,i used hammerite and did 3 coats over a whole day and then left it overnight, but if i remember it states on the tin touch dry in 30 minutes,so a few hours should be enough time, good luck m8 and don't forget the pic's when painted and wheels on...........

BTW What wheels have you got???

I would leave it overnight before driving. Biscuit wheel is still usable but stick it on the back if you get a punture on the front.

The wheels are in very good condition so i'll keep them as they are for the moment, then when the time comes or if i'm bored i'll do them black or anthrasite.

has my paint and decals sat waiting for the right time to do for over a month broken springs gave me the prime oppertunity - hate to say having broken springs helped ....but in reality they did
did them last thing in the evening 2 coats given with an hour to dry between each (touch dry in 20 minutes) then left overnight to dry

looking forward to seeing yours done with the rims on
