    Default display/sw adapter for kenwood

    Hi,

Does anyone know if kenwood do a single adapter lead that sorts the display and s/w controls out in a vectra '05 sri.

I've seen in this thread that pioneer do but am at a bit of a loss as to whther kenwood do.

Also if i take my cd 30 out and fit the kenwood, will i be able to swap them back without any prob when i sell the car??

    Thanks in advance
    Nick

you need to find out if your car is the FULL canbus system, if it is the full canbus system then the link above is not the correct one. They have not made a lead which does both the screen and the steering wheel yet(well up to 3 weeks ago). I will dig out the info and post it on here when i find it

    http://www.incarexpress.co.uk/view_p...partno=SVXK002

this is the part you require mate but it only does the steering wheel controls

LOL i know what you mean mate i was stumped for a while til i phoned up justkenwood.

All the leads changed when the cars went FULL canbus, the lead you linked is the correct lead for canbus but not the new variant of canbus .

I thought by buying a tried and tested vec (05 plate) that everything would have been done before with installs etc, what i did not know was they changed the whole canbus system the later models...clear as mud

The link i posted is the correct one for your car if its full canbus, and the link Paul posted is correct if you have the earlier version of canbus...

What a hassle for a steering wheel connector!!LOL
