    Default Air Box Mod

Hi Guys, Have read the How 2 with regard to the Air Box mod.
Could some one confirm which fuel type this applies to, ie is it
just a petrol mod or can it be carried out on a Diesel model also.

If this can be carried out on my Diesel burner what differences
    can I expect?

I did it my vvti petrol and after a week i put the flap back in because there was no difference what so ever.I do feel that Vauxhall put it there for a reason and even though i can see the theory behind removing it,the engineers must have thought it necessary.

I hope it wasn't the same engineer that designed the 2.2 fuel pump.

As you've read on the many replies to your thread, DONT BOTHER!!! Get a new filter and give the box a good clean. Its there to stop large debris hitting the filter panel and possibly damaging it. Not worth doing.
