Default Instrument Panel Dials Not Working

    Hi All

I am new to this forum and looking for some help. My instrument panel has stopped working, Rev Counter, Speedo, Temp Guage and Fuel Guage.

I was cleaning the car and also under the bonnet since then it has stopped. I cant see any loose wires under the bonnet and wouldn't have the first clue where to check. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers
    Mick

did the odometer still work ??? - mine did this once having been left unlocked for about an hour - turned off engine took keys out locked and unlocked - restarted and everything works - thought for a moment i was back in my focus with the dodgy "watchdog" clocks again

The plug behind the back of the cluster has a retaining clip on it so unlikely to be a loose cluster connector.

This happened on my Omega once, turned out to be just a 3 amp fuse blown, worth checking before you pull ya dash to pieces. HTH

Easy. ABS plug just unplug it, dry it out, you may have to put some switch/contact cleaner on it and I recon you'll have it sorted. The other guys are right to say CIM but if you were messing with water under he bonnet i'd go the the ABS plug. I had the same fault but intermittent, a quick clean and its worked for the last year or 2. HTH, keep us updated.

    Hi All

Thanks for all the suggestions. Still nothing on the Dash after trying all these fixes. I have the car booked in the garage for tomorrow. Still under warranty so let them sort it.

    Again Thanks for the help.

Make a diagnose with OP-COM or Tech2. The results must be clear.
