    Default Big brake upgrade!?

Hey guys, Im thinking about contacting LMF about purchasing one of these kits: http://www.lmfvauxhall.co.uk/store/p...at=2319&page=1

Is everything included to take my gsi from 302mm to these without buying anything else AND how much do you reckon is reasonable for a garage to charge to fit them?

Im needing new front pads and rear pads and discs so might aswell go mental and upgrade lol.

    Advice appreciated

LMF haven't had stock of the kits in a long time mate - might be worth a phone call just in case they can do anything though. The kit contains calipers, carriers, discs and pads which is what you need for the conversion - none of your current parts are useable...

You can buy the disc and pad set from VX for 65 squid +VAT so if you shop around for the calipers and carriers from breakers or AutoVaux etc you might come across some...

Also double check your gsi isn't already wearing them! Only a few of the early 3.2's had 302's and not sure if any of them were the Gsi's, just the elites.

Have a look at the caliper mate - if the brake retaining spring has a big square bit in the middle, it's a 314 caliper...

Lookign at the calipers and comparing them to the ones Duncan recently sold. Proves 3.2 elite had the 314's and his was an 03 plate. Before you splash out, get out and measure them Could save you a bit of money
