speed camera question

i have just come from me mams and passed a speed camera in gateshead with the lines in front of it gatso i think loads of lines any way was doing 30 in a 30 got near camera and it flashed twice now i was heading towards it but the lines for my side were my way camera was other way facing lines on other side of road also a camper van thing was going in other direction he would have got flashed at rear i was at front direction camera was facing who got caught me or him hahaha do u get me
he was going over lines and direction camera was facing

Very confusing message - the Truvello's have the 3 white lines in front and then the 3 black sensor lines on the road just before the white lines - they are forward facing and take a photo of the front of your car and your face. They are infra red and do not flash (as dectectable to the eye.). The fisrt 2 of the 3 black sensors on the road work out your speed - the 3 checks the reading of the first 2.

Gatso's are the rear facing ones that work on radar. Are you saying that there is a Gatso one one side and the Truvello on the other? Sorry struggling to work out what you are saying - had a few with Sunday lunch.

Speed cameras flash periodically to deter speeding motorists as that is their purpose of course.

I went through a few at 28mph in a 30 zone and they still flashed but never anything came of it.

If you were to drive that road alot in one day you will se that the flash every so often.

haha right i was going towards the camera that flashes,it flashed ??? twice i was facing it but the white marker lines on my side the camera was facing other side marker lines ,,a camper van went past same time as me going away from the camera but on the marker lines . i was doing 30 in a 30 dont know what he was doing obviously but i was heading towards my marker lines in opposite direction camera was facing is that better ....

Markers are on both sides of the road so that anyone who tries to avoid a speeding bill cant

They are not allowed to photograph your face - human rights apparently.
