Default For anyone with a Black car

Just wondering what Black is like to live with as your colour of car.
I know that polished up its the best colour but what about the rest of the time?

Does it show all the scratches off and swirl marks?
Whats it like to keep clean?
Does anyone regret getting black due to the above.
I chose a light coloured car so that any tiny scratches wouldn't show, and so far its masked a few tiny marks.Would black still look as good?
Does a good quality wax help protect the black any better?
Sorry for all the questions but i might consider a black car when it comes to changing and want other peoples opinion of it.
    Cheers

It takes a ludicrous amount of work to keep it looking Brand new. Way way more than my last car which was Misty Grey. TBH I underestimated what a pain it would be.

I've spent four or five hours doing mine and then gone to a meeting 20 minutes away and I might as well not have bothered. It does show every swirl mark, every scratch is magnified and as said above dust which settles on the surface also be readily seen.

Having said that I love the colour and my next car will be black too. I've found that Pete's Black Pearl or Colly 915 to be the best wax for mine out of all I've tried in terms of making it easier to clean the next time.

corrr can be a real pain!!!! looks lovely when youve cleaned it and gave it a good wax ant polish and for afters abit of tyre shine but give it a day and you can see a layer of dust sitting on top of the paint work!! can be so fustrating......

and im with you on that on stevel on the swirls you take one out ant then find another so start to rub that out and another appears and so on....... the best way i see it is dont look at it in direct sun light lol you wont see anything that way i doo need a good wax tho can any one sujest any thing??
