Default New Mobile Network / Phone.....

RIght, the time has come to kick Orange into touch (yet again!). Over the last 10 years, I have had 3 separate contracts with them and they have gone pants again!

Looking to pay no more then £30 - £35 a month, so what networks do u reccommend?

Use a fair few txts to the missus and need free minutes to same and cross network numbers (do sometimes have to use it for work!).

Also, whats the best phone out there at the moment?

    Cheers muchly in advance!

Cheers Glen, but Vodafone is pretty poorly covered here. We used to have a couple of PAYG ones in work and they never really had a great network coverage.
Whats the cost f the Iphone or equivalents now? Tempted to go back to O2

I've had no issues with O2 which is basically BT of course, been with them about 4 years now. Always had good coverage over most of the country.

I was originally paying £35 for 500 mins and more texts than I ever send, (any network) but last year when the contract finished I decided to cancel and go onto a Asda PAYG sim which only costs 8p a minute, and 4p for texts, as these days I simply dont use it very often.
However they pursuaded me to stay on for another year, same 500 mins but reduced the charge down to £15 a month which at the time I thought was quite a good deal. ( IOW, works like SKY, cancel and they drop the price) lol

My contract with O2 actually finishes tommorow May 9th, and due to the fact that over the last few months my calls have been less than £2 each month, I'm definately cancelling this time, can manage without a mobile these days, ie. just keep a PAYG in car in case I ever break down.

Sorry, no idea on the latest phones, I'm still using my old D900 Samsung..
