confused One for the Electrical boffins on here

    Heya Everyone,

Im thinking of changing my interior loom over to one with more stuff eg i can put heated seats and rear electric windows, and so on and so on.

But ..... seems ill be taking the dash out completly would i be able to get a loom from a car that has ECC? one with all the sensors would i be able to change from manual heater to the Electronic one? or is this just an impossiblity. also if it is possible, what else would i need? would i need to upgrade my TID to a GID?

its just a thought at the moment. im kind of expecting it to be impossible lol, but its worth asking seems im taking the entire loom out anyway lol!

Ta for any help guys and gals,

    Will

I would of thought it was possible as long as you get everything from donor car like youve said as i think the ECC uses the canbus system so it would be just a case of some tech2 session's to get it all working right,All though changing the loom just for this option is a bit ott in my opinion as the cost could rise as you would need all the bits, sensors, ecc unit....
GID will be easy to do by itself and makes a big difference from looking at a TID

But obviously i'm just guessing you would need to look into in great depth if you were thinking about it

ahh i thought it might just be easier while it was off. looking at my TIS program on the PC. it looks like id need a whole new heater Unit. Oh well lol, ill just have to constantly fiddle with the tempreture lol. i definatly will be changing TID to the GID though! just have to find a screen from somewhere...might give megaVaux a email.

    damn good start raptor.
That's the one for the manual levelling headlights, but are you able to tell TIS that the model for the diagram is a 3.2 GSi as the motors are different as the GSi came with self levelling motors that have a 4 pin connector rather than the 3 pin motor (M1) shown there.

Beautiful Spot on there, that's a job for me this weekend almost sorted in the diagram alone.

Basically I have to wire in the 4pin motors to the loom of my GSi to get rid of the check warning light caused by me having 3pin motors on my facelift lights after changing the front end.

I've reatached your diagram to point out the bulbs as this diagram also has the xenon bulb and electrics (on the LHS), but it's the motor on the right that I'm interested in now I know which wires it connects to.

Thanks for that, it will really help me out
