Help on window tints

hi new to this, got a issue with my rear tinted window as it looks like the tint hasnt take to the textured dotted edge all the way around and looks like crap. sorry no pics at the mo as the camera is fooked. Any help of how to fix this is greatly appreciated

self applied - or professional fit ?

if its the latter return to whoever fitted it - not of merchantable quality etc etc and get it redone foc

if its the first then - maybe option 2 would be better ....
and dont try to bypass the swear filter or behold the wraith of the mods

professional fit, took it back to the guy last week who just said that it was an issue with all cars with the textured rubbish around the window? i will fire it back in tomorrow and have a word see what i can do. cheers for the advice

Had mine tinted today... no pics yet untill its cleaned!!

But yes there is a problem with cars with the dot matrix ... i had a leaflet come with my receipt etc etc that said after 10 days using a soft cloth try to push it out... if it comes back unfort u just have to live with it.

just had an update from a guy who does tinting for a dealership, he says that there is no chance that tints will ever take on dot matrix. The only way around this with cars such as the vectra is to get a matching colour black vinyl and put that around the dot matrix and tint the window up to the edge of that to get a decent sharp look, so there will be some stern words with the tinting guy tomorrow
