    Default EM......Triangle tyres?

    hi
as a few of you know i have traded the VXR corsa and slipped back into the Vectra C. Part of my fantastic bargaining agreement with the car salesman was to have 2 new tyres fitted to the Vec upon collection.

As promised i could clearly see 2 new tyres, but didnt really look any further as i was still squirting in my pants with excitement due to having a Vec with AFL!

Anyways............. yesterday, out in the rain i soon discovered that the new tyres, are, well, utter gash.
Almost dies taking a slow corner at 30 mph!

So what tyres would you guys recommend for a good, all weather, long lasting tyre.... thats also cheaper than a prostitute from Tanzania?....
    cheers

Consider changing to 225/40 as you'll have far more choice and they'll be a bit cheaper.

Had Toyo T1-Rs, Goodyear Eagle F1s and currently got Pirelli P-zero Nero on the front (225/45/17). Out of the three would say the Pirellis are the best with the other two about the same for grip and wear. Currently only done about 6k with the Pirellis and so far wear is excellent. Paid £100 fitted per tyre.

Got these from Black Circles, but also tried valuetyres.co.uk as they can be competitive. Worth shopping around tho
