I have a problem with cats in my garden and have ordered one of these with the mains adaptor. Would it be applicable to your parking situation?

Have two of these 'Big Cheese' cat deterents, one like the one pictured, I paid £20 from the local garden centre so the price in the link is quite good, we also purchased its larger more powerful brother in the rear garden. (about £40) from Maplins.

The big question is... do they work? and the answer is, I'm still unsure, we still get the odd cat in the front garden which sets off our sensors which gives a chime sound in the house.

We also have a electronic dog which sounds outside (Its a on-chip digital recording of a barking Alsation...lol) which is also wired into the front sensors If someone is in the area of the front driveway, or around the car which is still being parked out front instead of the garage due to having a load of building materials in there.

We used to get loads of cats because the old gentleman in the nearest property has about 8 of them, the wife has even placed a load of small cans in the shrubbery with holes all around the sides and filled them with moth balls, according to numerous websites its seems cats dont like the smell. These measures do seem to have reduced the number of cats we see. May only get one a night now and occasionally none at all....

Last year I did see one on the bonnet after returning late at night when the weather was colder, since then, if we have been out in the evening, after parking up I now throw a bowl of water over the bonnet to be on the safe side.
Cats hate water as you know, which is why you never see any cats at all when its raining, and touch wood I've not seen any evidence to suggest they have been on the car since.

I am a keen gardener and get totally naffed off digging and finding the neighbours cat has decided to use my garden to deposit yesterdays dinner! Tried all sorts to deter it until someone mentioned a product called "Silent Roar". These are pellets made from lion pooh! Honest, no kidding, and cats stay way clear. It costs £9 for a big box and it works a good long while if you just scatter a few pellets around your garden. You have to repeat the process every few weeks but it 's the only thing I have found that works. Available at most good garden centers!

I scuffed my bumper whilst parking and took the paint off down to the white. You can probably imagine what the scratches were like to go with it. I used the Halfords Cutting compound and it worked a treat - took almost all the scuffs off and most of the scratches. The touch up kit will have to do the rest.
