chrome strips

Hi All

Just wondering, is the chrome window strips an optional extra on all Vec C's? or is there a model where its standard?

Not sure mate i had a 2.2 sri direct and it had them but my sri cdti dont have them

my 1.9 cdti sri 2006 facelift came with them

i belive vx picked and choosed what cars they went on, as some members with the same models, some had crome strips and others didnt

According to VX brochures:

Pre-facelift - standard on SRI, GSI, Elite, Design and Elegance. Was dropped for a while on the SRI's (and perhaps some other trims) during 2005 I think it was. Not sure about Signums.

Facelift - standard on Exclusiv, SRI, Elite, Design, VXR and on all Signums.

mine is a 2.0 DTI 53 plate and i have the chrome strips on

2008 sri mine has the chrome sttrips and these have just been replaced under warranty by vxl as they were discoloured

im getting mine done on my new vec aswell on friday under warranty.
try an avoid jet washes bud or itll just keep happening
