Chipping and better fuel economy don't really go together in the same sentence! Once you remap it you'll be giving it the beans more often.

As above, I've got the BSR kit on my car and very happy with it.

BSR is the way to go. Not chipping in the old sense an electronic ECU remap using a handheld plug-in unit. Plug and play.

Depend's on what your wanting mate, if your car is new and in warranty then bsr might be the safest option as its removable but if your car like mine is out of warranty then there are other option's which are a dam sight cheaper. I personally have been looking at super chip's as they have a place in glenrothes, the map itself is nearly the exactly the same as bsr stage 1 power and its nearly 200 quid cheaper.

It all boil's down to what your after, me personally i doubt i would take my car to stage 3 bsr as (i know rr can be quirky )the figure's i have seen simply do not warrant the extra cash, also it seem's the standard clutch might be suspect on stage 3 power from what gsi3.2 has told me. One of the big selling point's of bsr is that it's upgradable but with this option taken away for me, im not sure the bsr warrant's the extra 200 over the superchip map.

Hope this give's you more food for thought
