    Default Fuel filter update

I changed the FF on my 1.9(120) Vec and having previously offered the email instructions I thought I would add a couple of notes.

    1) The FF will come out of the crash cage easier if you squirt a drop of WD40 on the location guides.
    2) The water sensor plug at the bottom of the FF can be detached after the FF assemble has been removed from the CC.I used a nitrile glove to keep spills from the inlet & outlet hoses to a minimum. Secure the glove with an elastic band.
    3) Most of the remaining fuel will empty via the inlet /outlets of the FF.
    3) Place the FF in a workmate, if you put it in horizontally and clamp the location guides. Put a similar size piece of wood at the other end of the workmate jaws to even it up. No stress on the body of the filter this way.
    4) A Stanley Boa rubber strap wrench will undo the filter top without damage. These are about £11 from B&Q.
    5) The dirty filter un-clips, drain the remaining fuel and clean the filter.

Reassemble, test for leaks and Bob's your uncle.
I didn't put any fuel into the new FF , I turned the engine over a few times and the FF self primes.

    Hope this helps
