    Default Rear Bumper..

On my Elite, at the bottom of the bumper there is a grey "extension". On the SRi / GSi this is where the tail pipes would come out.

Can this part be removed and replaced with the part from the SRi / GSi, or am I going to have to get an SRi / GSi rear bumper for the cut outs?

Yep, looks good this too have seen a few other people who have done it on the forum. I'm going to be doing it soon myself.

The SRi bumper has cut outs for the exhaust though... The standard bumper hides it.

I had this problem mate and it can be done without a new bumper.

The extension on the bottom of the elite bumpers does unclip, on the SRI it is a molded part and not removeable.

I changed the bumper on mine based on similar advise as given above, in good faith but incorrect.

After changing my bumper i came across a complete VXR lower extension piece for sale on Ebay with the two exhaust cutouts, so there are just replacement bottom trims available.

Also a member on the club has one on his lower bumper but cannot remember who, off out know but will try to find pic later and post up.

    Cheers

The VXR trim has to bond to the SRI trim though, wouldnt fancy just 'hanging' it from an elite bumper....

The VXR trim is designed to bond over the top of the SRi bottom section.

I wouldn't trust it just hanging tbh!!
