    Default I'm back!!

Hi Everyone, I'm back from Orlando!

We had a great time, the weather was superb high 80's most of the time, with around 70-80 at night

We stayed at the Rodeway Inn on International Drive, whch was quite basic as we expected but very clean and the services were good, plus a really nice pool area.

We deliberately did not do too many theme parks as I wanted chill out time as well so we kept it to Busch Gardens, Aquatica & Seaworld, which gave us plenty of time to relax by the pool & do other stuff too.

The journey was a bit of an epic as to save money (£200 each) we flew into Philadelphia then on a connection to Orlando, but it was well worth it.

I was really impressed by how polite most Americans there were, people in the street walking often spoke and would be quite happy to chat, & they are particularly interested if you talk about UK.

I'll put some pics up when I get 5.

    Cheers,

    Ian

    Blimey Glen, small world!

It is quite basic, but excellent value, we paid about £280 for 10 days for 3 of us IIRC!! All you need in this area is a secure clean & peaceful place to sleep & a shower as you are out most of the time.

As I said the pool area is very nice & I only tried the bar once but it had a great atmosphere & excellent pool tables (I love a game of pool!)

I noticed the prices have increased in other areas though, supermarket prices, beer & food have all increased, plus the exchange rate is less now makes things work our more expensive.

The park tickets are very expensive.
