I have found out today whey the insignia is a good drive. This is because it has the new Alfa Romeo Chassis. if Fiat buy VX they dont have to change much as the engins are fiat in most models.

I dont think it has, I have not heard of the Alfa Romeo using the Epsilon II chassis. Its a GM derived product.
Yes they told me at the bristol dealership on saturday. So I take that as read. I will check with another dealer tommorow to confirm yes or no.
Not true, as said, the Insignia has the Epsillon II chassis, Alpha Romeo does'nt, and the diesel engines (1.9 and Insignia's 2.0) are a joint venture from GM Powertrain which is a joint Fiat/GM venture.
If Fiat buy Opel, you won't see anything change from a day to day running of things.
The dealer told you? They will tell you they know how to fix them next
Right, looking on the net, i would assume that Alfa romeo may be looking to use the Epsilon II chassis for one of their future models, but nothing actually states they will be! But as i said before its NOT an Alfa Chassis..............and anyway, some alfa's drive cr4p!
